When my train reached Moradabad Railway Station.

It was morning, and my train was slowly coming to a halt at Moradabad Railway Station. There was a bustle on the platform—tea vendors, porters, and crowds of passengers.

But as soon as I stepped off, I realized that this was no small station—it was a major junction where trains kept arriving and departing every few moments.

Features that I used myself

By this time, I needed a bit of rest, so I took a close look at the amenities available at Moradabad Railway Station. There is a separate waiting room designated for women here, which made me feel quite comfortable and secure. Additionally, food stalls and an IRCTC canteen were easily accessible, from where I picked up a cup of tea. Free Wi-Fi was also available at the station, which is quite useful for travelers. The ticket and reservation counters were also functioning in an organized manner. Amidst all these facilities, I sat there sipping my tea, watching the trains come and go—to be honest, that moment was incredibly peaceful and serene.

My Experience as a Female Traveler

As a female traveler, my experience was quite balanced and positive. I observed the station’s atmosphere during both the day and night, and—to be honest—I found the security here to be good; the crowds were manageable, and the staff appeared quite helpful. Nevertheless, I took certain necessary precautions on my part—I always stayed on well-lit platforms, kept my luggage close to me at all times, and maintained extra vigilance, particularly during the late hours of the night. These small measures made my journey even safer and more comfortable.

As I stepped out of the station, I could feel the city’s true vibe. Right outside, autos and e-rickshaws were easily available, making the onward journey quite convenient. Small hotels and dhabas were visible all around, where the aroma of local food made the atmosphere even more vibrant. Everywhere I looked, the rhythm of people’s daily lives was unfolding—the true essence of this city.
