The transport system in India is gradually becoming modern and ever since the Namo Bharat train has started, the journey of people travelling from Delhi to Meerut has become easier. I too had been wanting to travel in this train for a long time, so I decided that I will travel in Namo Bharat train on Delhi to Meerut route and share my experience. This blog is based on my personal journey in which I am going to tell you everything in detail from buying the ticket to the experience inside the train, speed route and future plans.
How was the trip planned?
First of all I checked the Namo Bharat train route on the internet. I knew that this train runs on the Delhi to Meerut and Meerut to Delhi route. This train is a high speed train which connects different states. This train is much faster than ordinary trains and buses and its speed is 180 km per hour and it is currently running at a speed of 160 km per hour. This train passes through a station every 15 minutes.
Initially, I thought that booking it would be very difficult but it is very easy to book it. You can book tickets from the ticket counter of the station and can also book tickets online. There are vending machines at the station itself from which you can easily get tickets.
After buying the ticket, I started getting very excited because I had never travelled in this train before. People were saying that the facilities of this train are much better than Delhi Metro, hence I was filled with curiosity.

The Experience of Arriving at the Station
On the day of travel, I reached the station a little early. On reaching the station, the first thing I saw was cleanliness and modern design and I was very surprised to see this design. I felt as if I had come to an airport. There, I was also given a security check by the police, which was mandatory. Security check is done for every passenger.
I was clearly seeing the train timings and platform on the digital screen at the station. The announcements were also being made in a clear voice. I felt that India’s transport system has really upgraded so much. In fact, India is progressing a lot day by day.
When I was standing on the platform and saw the Namo Bharat train coming for the first time, I was impressed by its design. It looked very cute as if it was a bullet train. Although it is a semi-high speed train, but Indian engineers can design such a good train. It is an indigenous semi-high speed train.

The Experience Inside the Train
As soon as the train arrived on the platform, first the platform doors opened and then the automatic doors of the train opened. As soon as I entered the train, the first thing I felt was the cool breeze of the AC. The seats were comfortable and there was a lot of space. This train had premium coaches as well as standard coaches.
There were charging points near every seat which is very useful for travel, so that you can charge your phone and your tablet too, the announcements were also clear, the train also had a digital screen on which information about the next upcoming station was being shown, the entire route map was visible on the screen.
What I liked the most was that there was less crowd inside the train and people were travelling comfortably. If you travel daily then this train is the best option like many people go to work.

Top Speed of the Namo Bharat Train
Everyone says that the speed of Namo Bharat train is very fast but you don’t get the real feeling until you travel yourself. This train runs at a speed of 160 km per hour.
When the train started, initially the speed was normal but after some time the speed increased considerably. Looking out of the window, it was clear that the train was moving much faster than a normal train.
I learned that this train falls into the semi-high-speed category and will run even faster in the future. The journey is smooth, there are minimal jerks, and there is minimal noise. If you enjoy fast travel, you will definitely love the Namo Bharat Train.

The train facilities that I liked the most
Based on my experience, some of the best facilities of the Namo Bharat train are:
- Comfortable seats
- Fast speed
- Clean environment
- AC coach
- Charging point
- Digital display
- Smooth travel
- Safe journey
All these facilities are much better than those on a normal train.
